My Background
I graduated with a B.A. in Communications w/emphasis in Broadcasting from the University of Central Florida. After a series of college internships in sales and marketing at local media outlets in Orlando, FL. My first position out of school was working in sales for Media Plus Consulting as an International Media Sales Consultant. The position was demanding and exciting, but most of all, rewarding.

After successful projects in Malta, Latvia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and The Bahamas, I decided it was time to move back to the U.S. where I worked in Visual Merchandising Sales for an agency based in San Francisco. Next I pursued a position in pharmaceutical sales, but I soon found myself drawn back to media. I am now working for Media Plus Consulting in recruitment, something I truly love because I get the chance to hire candidates who are as passionate about sales and international travel as I am.

My idea of the ideal candidate

S/he is someone who is articulate, motivated, adventurous, and enterprising. In order to be successful in this position, you have to possess the ability to work with all types of people in all types of cultures, and do it with confidence. You have to be persuasive, personable, outgoing, and determined to succeed.  The most important quality I look for in a candidate is confidence. If you aren’t confident in what you’re doing, how can you expect anyone else to have confidence in you?
