FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The following is a list of frequently asked questions and the answers.
1. How long do projects last?
Projects generally last 3 to 5 months within a specific country. The timeframe changes depending on the size of the country and the number of potential sponsors within the country.
2. Do I get to choose my own destination?
No, this is not the case. We will consider your preferences, but we cannot give any guarantees. During your training phase, we will carefully evaluate your qualifications and personality, in order to send you to projects where you stand the best chance to be successful. Additionally, many factors contribute to our selection of project locations and consultants.
3. How are partnerships determined and do I have a say in who my partner will be?
We evaluate individual skills sets and match consultants who best compliment each other.
We always take into consideration of your suggestions though we cannot make any guarantees.
4. Are the Sales Consultants informed prior to departure of where their project will be, when do we find out?
Do you mean before they come to Belgium for the training? In which case it’s a No
If you mean before they go to their project, then the answer would be Yes. We will inform you the destination of your project prior to departure.
5. Will I be sent to dangerous countries?
No. We only go to countries that are safe and booming economically. We would never send our consultants to areas of conflict or unrest. The safety of our consultants takes precedence.
6. How many people are involved within a project?
Normally, our sales consultants work together in pairs of two. In the beginning you will be paired up with a more senior consultant who is able to guide & coach you on the spot. In addition to the direct support and guidance of a more senior consultant, you will also receive the necessary support from your personal coach and call center agent. The coach and call agente work from our coordination center in Belgium, and are in daily contact with you in order to help you make your project successful! We have an entire team supporting you.
7. What is the learning curve within Media Plus?
The learning curve is steep. We believe in a professional guidance & training in order to make you a successful consultant. For this reason we work with an intensive trainings program, consisting of an in-house training where you will get all the necessary input on the business model, the structure and the sales techniques. After successfully completing this in-house training, you will receive a 3-month field sales training to learn the job and have the opportunity to job-shadow. After the successful completion of the training period, the consultant will start his/her own project.
8. Who takes care of housing & travel expenses?
All work related costs are paid by the company. Also during your stay in Belgium, we will provide the accommodation and transport.
9. Am I responsible for writing all the articles?
We have a team of experienced writers and editors who write and edit the articles for publication. The sales consultant’s responsibility is to gather the information from the clients and forward the information to the editorial staff in a standard format.
